Splendid Isolation

Freedom is choice.

The space you choose to be alone in splendid isolation.

A safe place you escape the shrinking days and unmoor from the shackles of everyday life.

Each breath an abandon of duty and commitment,

each step a realignment of body with spirit.

When finally you let go and surrender,

the light reflects back to the periphery of your senses,

and you are renewed.

In the stillness you watch all float away with the movement of the tide.
